Mission Statement:

We are a non-profit youth wrestling club of caring, enthusiastic, qualified professional volunteer coaches that participate with the local community to promote the amateur sport of wrestling throughout the Sandhills Region:

  • Provide necessary support to sustain the amateur sport of wrestling in North Carolina.
  • Create an atmosphere where both boys and girls can develop into quality wrestlers and student athletes.
  • Develop quality student athletes that practice good sportsmanship.
  • Enable the Sandhills Sandcats wrestlers to learn to become winners and become future champions in life.
  • Provide necessary resources to develop a winning wrestling program.

    • Vision Statement:

  • Be the best wrestling youth club in North Carolina.
  • To provide the best coaching staff and resources for our wrestlers.
  • Create an environment where champions are born.

    • Goals:

  • Finish as top team at the AAU State Championships for the season.
  • Finish with several AAU State champions and numerous State AAU place winners for the season.
  • Finish with a several North Carolina All-Star Team qualifiers or National Team qualifiers.

    Without heart, action is just a dream. Action without preparation is not enough. Preparation and heart can change the outcome. Therefore, as a Sandcat, I understand that dedication, desire, and determination creates a champion. Thus, we always, as champions, prepare to rise to the occasion, go to battle, and win. Let’s wrestle. GO SANDCATS!!!
